Dr. Portnoy and Dr. Tu met when they attended dental school together at the University of Detroit-Mercy in 1997. They discovered that they had a great deal in common: A passion for helping people, dedication to professional growth and pursuit of unparalleled excellence in patient care. They strive towards excellence through their advanced dental studies at the Pankey Institute.

After some years practicing dentistry separately, they were thrilled to have the opportunity to join forces in Okemos since 2005. They moved to their new location in 2019. Both doctors enjoy doing all of the procedures for general dentistry, but Dr. Portnoy has a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry and dentures while Dr. Tu loves extractions and root canal therapy.

Both doctors feel strongly about making a strong positive contribution to Meridian Township and to mid-Michigan. They are active members of several local, regional and national professional and business organizations. They are dedicated to helping our neighbors in need through a variety of local activities and charitable donations.
