Haven House of East Lansing

Temporary Home

We collected donations of school supplies and backpacks for Haven House.

Haven House provides emergency housing and support services for one-parent and two-parent families with children. The shelter helps families who are homeless prepare for permanent housing by developing and promoting self-sufficiency, stability, and financial responsibility.

Toys For Tots

New unwrapped toys, etc.

We collected donations of new unwrapped toys, books and gifts for this organization.

The Marine Toys for Tots Program is thankful for the many generous corporate sponsors and donors which contribute and help raise monetary contributions, toys and program awareness. Their support helps millions of less fortunate children share in the magic of the holidays.

Okemos Community Church

Food Pantry

We collect donated perishable food items for this organization.

The Okemos Community Church put their faith into action through fundraising, hands-on service days and mission work trips. OCC supports and serves the vulnerable in our local community and beyond.

Schools Surrounding our area

Sports & Yearbook

We sponsor various sports such as tennis & soccer, and yearbook throughout the year. We support schools surrounding Okemos and Greater Lansing.

Donated Dental Services

Free Dental Services Program

Portnoy and Tu, DDS, PC Family Dentistry donated dental services for two patients per calendar year.

Apply through DDS Program.

Eligibility Requirements:

*Have a permanent disability, or *Are elderly: age 65 or older, or *Have a chronic health condition

AND

*Have income below 200% of the federal poverty level

*Have no dental insurance

*Need extensive dental care (we are unable to provide emergency services)

This organization mission is to raise funds and awareness supporting the research and treatment of childhood cancer.

Performing Arts

We sponsor each season a show at Wharton Center to support the Performing Arts.

There is no greater purpose than to help transform the world around us for the better. Through the performing arts and arts education, Wharton Center is committed to shaping our community into something remarkable. Inspired by performances and innovative education programs, each person leaves Wharton Center with a story to tell. Sharing these stories is essential to living a richer and more purposeful life.
